Gaskets in repair kits adopt graded materials for different pressure conditions: paper gaskets are lightweight and soft for low-pressure positions such as valve covers; composite asbestos gaskets resist high temperature and pressure for engine cylinder joint surfaces; multi-layer metal gaskets with high rigidity apply to cylinder heads and high-pressure oil flanges; foam rubber gaskets with good flexibility fit assemblies requiring frequent disassembly and maintenance. Before installing new sealing parts, clean oil sludge and burrs on shell contact surfaces. Do not pry oil seals hard to avoid lip scratch; apply special sealing grease on O-rings during assembly; fasten bolts evenly after gasket alignment to prevent gasket deformation caused by unilateral force. For engine and assembly overhaul, replace all sealing parts in a complete set instead of mixing old and new parts to ensure balanced vehicle sealing performance.
